Pride & Class: Petes on parade

DENTON, TX. Nearly 50 Peterbilt customers showed their pride and showcased their rides by circling the City of Denton’s Downtown Square during the first Peterbilt Pride & Class Parade. Peterbilt Motors Co. has its heavy-duty truck manufacturing facility and headquarters here.

Trucks ranging from a 1948 Model 350 to current production Model 579s and Model 567s—and many models manufactured in-between—were featured for Peterbilt’s annual employee and family open house. The trucks and their owners came from throughout the U.S. and Canada.

The Pride & Class Parade raised nearly $1,000 from donations made during the event for the United Way of Denton County. United Way of Denton County President and CEO Gary Henderson was the parade’s Grand Marshall. (Photos courtesy of Peterbilt Motors)
