A “new level of luxury” is how Ford Motor Co. is summing up the 2016 version of its F-150 Limited pickup line, which goes on sale this winter; setting what Raj Nair, Ford’s group VP for global product development calls “a new bar” for what customers should expect in a “high-end” truck.
On the outside, the 2016 F-150 Limited comes equipped with new 22-inch polished aluminum wheels.
The 2016 F-150 Limited also features a unique front grille.
Raised dimensional “Limited” lettering on the hood and and satin-finished chrome “Limited” badge on the tailgate at to the luxury pickup's exterior touches.
On the inside, the 2016 F-150 Limited features a technology package that includes a lane-keeping system, BLIS with cross-traffic alert, a 360-degree camera system and dynamic trailer hitch assist. Ford’s latest SYNC 3 communications and entertainment system with AppLink is also a standard offering.
Heated and cooled black and Mojave leather front seats that are unique in design and feature Limited badging, 10-way power adjustment with a “multi-contour” massage. Heated rear seats are included, too.
Remote start and tailgate release as well as an integrated trailer brake controller all come standard as well.
The 2016 F-150 Limited comes standard with Ford’s 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6, which cranks out 365 hp and 420 lb.-ft. of torque.
